iPhone 5

I've upgraded my phone to the new iPhone (thanks to Matt of course who ordered and bought it for me)! I told Matt last night that I need I watch an iPhone how-to video to learn how to use one better... It's so much lighter and sleeker! The screen is a little bigger too which is nice :) I'm looking forward to the super fancy camera on it!!! Pictures to come :)

Happy birthday cousins!

This past Saturday we drove out to Redlands for the day to celebrate 2 very special little people :) My sister and brother in law threw a fantastic party! A jumper, giant blow up slide, balloons, streamers, cupcakes, rice crispy treats, and Uncle Howies pizza! We had a blast! I really wish I would have taken more pictures! I think the slide was my favorite :) It was so much fun watching the kiddos slide and jump and play together! We even had races up and down the slide which both Matt and I sustained minor injuries :) Maybe one of my favorite moments was jumping in the bounce house with Matt's sisters and their husbands?! That was hilarious and my arms were sore for days from holding onto the side netting for my dear life :)

Too much fun

Violet had way too much fun yesterday. Too much fun = no naps = super fussy evening baby = bad sleep at night. Last night she woke up 2x!!!!! Poor thing. When she was younger I always made sure that I gave her "rest days" in between exciting days... Maybe I need to do that again? A day where I make sure she gets her naps in :) She had lots of fun at daycare for just a couple hours yesterday. Then we went shopping for birthday presents for her cousins :) Soooo much to look at! Then we went over to a friends house for dinner and a play date (Matt had a cards night with the boys at the same house). All of these activities happened precisely at key rest moments...

This morning she woke up early at 6:30. She helped me wrap presents though :) Such a good girl :)

We're on our way to Redlands and she's already asleep :) Her brain needs this.

Monday

We had a fantastic day :) After grocery shopping, Aunty Mel had the day off and came to visit! We had lunch and then a nice long walk :) Even though her schedule is always so busy with work, she somehow manages to do it all. I think I need a lesson in time management :)
